Specially designed for young riders who love ponies
Wickstead Farm was one of the first Equestrian Centres to be approved by The Pony Club — the Centre scheme is specially designed for young riders who enjoy riding and love ponies but do not own their own. Centre membership allows our pupils to take part in day courses, camps and competitions, and to work towards achievement badges and tests.
Our main mission in the Pony Club section is to help Centre members train to be excellent at horse and riding care. We know the best way to learn these skills is to practise — The Pony Club have built a website full of quizzes, games and videos to help, which you can find at Pony Prep .
Triathlon & Tetrathlon
A strong Pony Club team
We have a strong Pony Club team of triathletes — members shoot, swim and run during the winter months. Over the summer we hold a fun tetrathlon here at Wickstead for all to get involved in, and we're always trying to convince a few parents to have a go too!
